Acid reducers for wine
Product description: Potassium bicarbonate is a reagent which helps to reduce the titratable acidity of grape must - wine acid reducer. Increased acidity is usually observed in poorly ripe grapes.
Recommended dose: 1 gr. of CaCO3 / 1 liter, reduces the titratable acidity by about 1,1 to 1,2 gr.
Usage: The desired amount of potassium bicarbonate is dissolved into 3-4 times bigger amount of grape must or wine by a good homogenization and then the solution is added to the must or wine.
Recommendation: Acidity reduction is better to be done on the basis of finished wine.
Storage: Keep in a cool dry place..
